JAKARTA , detikgo.com — President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the swearing-in of a Constitutional Court Justice and members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2026–2031 term at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday (April 10, 2026).
The ceremony marked an important step in strengthening state institutions responsible for safeguarding the constitution and overseeing public services in Indonesia.

Liliek Prisbawono Adi Officially Appointed as Constitutional Court Justice
During the ceremony, Liliek Prisbawono Adi was officially appointed as a Constitutional Court Justice based on Presidential Decree No. 36/P of 2026 concerning the dismissal and appointment of a Constitutional Court Justice proposed by the Supreme Court.
After taking the oath of office, Liliek emphasized his commitment to upholding integrity as the main principle in carrying out his duties as a guardian of the constitution.

He also highlighted the importance of statesmanship in protecting constitutional values and requested public support and prayers to fulfill the mandate responsibly.
List of Ombudsman RI Members for 2026–2031
President Prabowo also witnessed the inauguration of Ombudsman RI members for the 2026–2031 term based on Presidential Decree No. 20/P of 2026.

Ombudsman to Prioritize Internal Reforms
Ombudsman Chairman Hery Susanto stated that internal reform will be the top priority during the new leadership period.
According to him, several aspects need improvement, including institutional structure, operational systems, and budget support to strengthen public service supervision.
He also stressed the importance of monitoring government priority programs to ensure they reach the public effectively.
Programs such as free education, people’s schools, and free nutritious meal programs will be closely supervised to ensure proper implementation and transparency.
Strengthening Public Service Oversight
The swearing-in of the Constitutional Court Justice and Ombudsman RI members is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s constitutional system and public service oversight.
With new leadership in place, both the Constitutional Court and Ombudsman RI are expected to enhance institutional integrity and maintain public trust in government governance.
